Our History

Our name goes back to 1951 and Anthony (Tony) D’Agostino. Tony and his wife, Mayme, started Anthony Plumbing in 1951 in the basement of the family’s home at 7538 Mohawk, Prairie Village, KS. As the business grew so did the family clan, adding five sons to the workforce. Paul, the oldest, started in the business like many others as a youngster running and fetching for his father. In 1999, Paul became the sole owner of Anthony Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. In 2007, he sold it to Steve Burbridge (former Owner of Neal Harris, 1982-2005). Currently, no D’Agostino family member is involved with the company.

2007 . . . New Leadership, Steve Burbridge
Anthony Leadership
Steve vowed to grow the business to new levels by providing exceptional customer service with “Technicians You Can TRUST With Your House Keys®”. Steve, like Paul D’Agostino, learned much about the plumbing and the HVAC business through his dad, Ralph Burbridge. Ralph Burbridge bought Neal Harris Heating, AC & Plumbing 1982 from Neal when it was a one-truck, two-man operation.

2011 . . . 60 Years
Anthony PHC Celebrated 60 years of hometown service. The company has moved through technology and economic changes and continues to grow on the idea that everyone still deserves personal attention and a service company they can trust.

2013 . . . A New Leadership Team

Kent Gurske (formerly Gurske Plumbing) came to Anthony as the Plumbing Manager and then moved into the role of Operations Manager.  Anthony PHC continues to forge new roads in the service business, led by the team of Kent Gurske, Steve Burbridge, Dan House, Mark Mitchell, and Dean Schneider.
